Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor as well as a producer. She is among the highest-paid actresses, and was awarded numerous accolades in recognition of her work. Since her modelling debut in Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did various campaigns for companies like and she's done ads for their Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry as well as Fiat Palio etc. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and began giving auditions to film. Anushka Sharma's acting debut was in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. In preparation for her screening, Anushka Sharma spent an entire day. Later, she was signed to three movies by Yash Raj Films. In one of them, she performed the part of a young bride of a middle-aged man (the part Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared in the 2010 film "Badmash Company" alongside Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The movie got mixed reviews. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she played a Punjabi middle-class girl who set up her own company. The movie received positive reviews and proved to be an overnight success. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
